While returning home from Roanoke, Virginia yesterday, the Lord reminded me afresh that God-sized outcomes happen because of Holy Spirt power (Zachariah 4:6-9). Zerubbabel had a God sized opportunity in rebuilding the temple. In 2019, you also have God sized opportunities before you. God chooses to take your meager human efforts and empower you with the Holy Spirit for God-sized outcomes. In 2019, live for God-sized outcomes by constantly tapping into the Holy Spirit’s power. May the Lord grant you a prosperous New Year. Pastor Brian E. Kennedy, Sr.
PS: See you tonight at the New Years Eve Celebration including food, fun, games, prayer, testimonies, and baptism (7:30 pm to 12:30 am).

When Multiple People Go to Heaven in a Local Church
When Multiple People Go to Heaven in a Local Church.
Perhaps what God gives me when multiple loved ones go to heaven at Mt. Zion, and in my life will encourage you.
First, God allows me the freedom to hurt while I serve. I don't have to play super strongman because God is the source of my strength.
Second, As I serve God on my way to glory, I realize I will have several painful pauses: God will retire from this life someone I love deeply, and bring them home for eternal rest and reward.
As for me, I grieve with hope and continue to give Him a lifetime of faithfully service until He calls me into retirement and escorts me into eternal rest and reward. I am listening for “well done My good and faithful servant.”
Third, God allows me the freedom to miss them, think about them frequently, thank God for what they contributed, and gain encouragement to also leave Christian legacy for others to appreciate and use for His glory.
None of the members of Mt. Zion, family, and friends make up casual relationships, but are loving family members who personally impacted my life, and whom I will see in heaven.
Yes, dealing with death is painful for all of us, but remember it is just a pause, because one day we will get to heaven and what day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory (I Thess. 5:13-18).
God Bless

A Christmas Pursuit?
A Christmas Pursuit?
Through the Prophet Hosea, God told His children that He wanted them to show love for Him more than insincere sacrifices; and He wanted them to know Him up close and personal (Hosea 6:6).
As you do life during Christmas, go for the deep seated love relationship with God through Jesus the Christ, which transcends presents, tress, and lights which are all beautiful but are only symbols, superficial and temporary.
Being straight with God facilitates meaningful relationships with others. The others are people in whom you share the gospel, which is at the heart of Christmas. The others are family and friends who have your best interest at heart. The others are those in whom you need to reconcile, or get to know, or help. Pursuing relationships reflects the love which comes from God, Who sent Christ so that we can have a Merry Christmas with Him and others (John 3:16).
