Christian’s, We are Family.

Numerous families are dealing with exacerbated pain due to the death of young family members.
Christians, God said we are intricately  connected: “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body.  We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other” (Rom. 12:4-5).
Christians, we are family.  Let’s connect with, and lovingly nurture our family members touched by death and dying.

God Bless,
Pastor Brian E. Kennedy, Sr.

Creative Obedience

This Sunday is "Go Sunday" at Mt. Zion Church of Ontario.  During our Sunday Morning Bible Study hour, the congregation will "Go" into the community and give away plants, give out water, homeless kits, knock on doors to share Jesus, distribute door hangers, and minister at two convalescent homes.  We will also hold a prayer meeting at church to support all our teams.
Christians, despite the size of the congregation you are in, pray, and work
with your Pastor and Church Leaders to "go" into the community, and beyond,
for creative obedience Matt. 28:18-20.

God Bless,
Pastor Brian E. Kennedy, Sr.

Yellow Light!

On public streets, a yellow light is not the same as yellow lights in pre-stage drag racing.  On public streets, yellow lights signal the need for drivers to be cautious or prepare to stop.  Proverbs 5 & 8, are like yellow lights warning men of impending danger, and to use wisdom to protect against the devastation of adultery.
Christian Brothers, be encouraged, fight for, and focus on the woman in whom you promised to love “until death do you part” (Prov. 5:15-18 ).

God Bless,
Pastor Brian E. Kennedy, Sr.

What are you Doing?

On October 31, Mt. Zion along with other churches worldwide, celebrated the fall harvest.
Today, we are still thanking God for His provisions, and in the midst of all the California fires, we are praying for, and sharing with others in need.
Yes, God is providing food, safety, shelter, new friendships, and new growth opportunities for fire victims.  God is also providing us to give them ongoing acts of love.
Get to church this weekend to help contribute to what your church is doing to help fire victims, and encourage those responding to the fires.
Mt. Zion will give to the California Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Fund.
Today, our neighbors are in need, and the love of Jesus moves us to help.

God Bless,
Pastor Brian E. Kennedy, Sr.
