Christian's, let us reduce our stress levels, and eliminate unnecessary pains in our bodies by leaving the overwhelming, and impossible with God. Plus leave the daily stuff with God as well.
Really! Stop and take time to practice Prov. 3:5-8: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. 8 It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones."
"David replied to the Philistine, "You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of Heaven's Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied" (I Samuel 17:45). NLT
What a powerful example for how we Christian's are to face insurmountable odds.
When people are betting against you, and others are feeling sorry for you, and yet others feel they will defeat you, go forth with some real help. Go forth with the power of the LORD of Heaven's Armies, before you and standing around you.
Christian's go forward with total confidence in the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Worship of God in spirit and in truth releases us from the empty pursuit of self-gratification, and gets us beyond ourselves to our Creator who will fulfill us despite our economic, social, or physical conditions.
Take time to worship God so that you will enjoy a beyond human experience (John 14:21-23).
Christian's despite all that you are planning, make worship a priority.
As you prepare to attend church this weekend, break free from an external practice of religion.
Break free from the distractions of what other people are wearing, saying, doing, and what you look like.
Break free from the things that keep you from forgetting about yourself and concentration on God and worshipping Him.
Think worship before you arrive. Think of everything you do as an act of worship (Rom. 12:1).
Experience God in a way that you cannot create within. Experience the true and the living God in a full and meaningful way (John 10:10b). Make worship, recognizing And bowing down before God, and live in obedience before Him because of who He is, what He has done, and what He is going to do.
Now that Mother's Day is over, how are you doing with showing Christlike love toward the ladies and girls in your life?
Doing special things once a year is a nice practice, but to be consistent throughout the year is the Christian practice.
Here is a prayer to help with loving women with God's design in our mind.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank for personally designing and bringing the beautiful creation of women into the world. Thank You for giving women the prominent role of complementing men in multiplying and having dominion over the earth. Thank you for the positive things recorded about women in the Bible to override the negative and abusive views of women in society. Lord, forgive me for anything I have thought, said, or done to devalue or give a negative impression of women. Father help me to promote through my actions love and godliness in relationships between men, women, boys, and girls. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
When God created Eve, God created her to complement not compete with her husband Adam.
At the end of Genesis two, Adam and Eve were husband and wife, and they were in harmony with God, in harmony with each other, and in harmony with the creation around them. They were one flesh, and enjoyed harmony.
This picture of the first man and woman in marital harmony as God created and established as the model for the rest of humanity is what will return peace and harmony to families.
Christian's this Mother's Day is a great time for us to review the roles that God assigned to men and women in marriage, and recommit to doing our part to obey God.
For those who are not married, this is a time to acknowledge God's design for humanity and pray that married couples will honor God's Word.
For those looking for that godly man, or that godly woman, review your role as described by God and commit to fulfilling your part as you wait on the Lord.
As you see others in meaningful relationships, be happy for then and pray for God to protect their relationship. This will eliminate jealousy and relieve the pain of loneliness.
Christian's as we obey God, we will enjoy abundant life (full and meaningful life), and we will live in peace with God, each other, and ourselves.
People who do not agree with the biblical view of marriage will at least respect how we practice true Christianity and are not faking and shaking and mistreating each other. They will also respect how we enjoy God's promises for our reverent obedience to Him.
Christian's let us show our beautiful and loving light by the way we lovingly obey our Lord, show kindness to each other, and to those who see things differently.
Wish a mother or a woman happy Mother's Day. Pray for her if she has time and will receive prayer.
King David did things deserving of death. God confronted David and David fell on his face before God and confessed his sins, and God forgave him and spared his life.
According to Rom 3:23, we too have sinned and failed to satisfy God's righteous standards. We too like David deserve to die, but when we gave our hearts to Jesus, God forgave us and spared our lives.
Having received God's mercy, and His grace, determine to treat others with more balance. Be kind, tender hearted, and forgiving (Eph. 4:32).
Here is a prayer to help: My Dear Heavenly Father, words cannot articulate the joy I feel deep in my soul for Your perfect balance. I realize that justice could destroy me for my disobedience to Your Word, but because of Your mercy, I do not get what I deserve. Father, You also sprinkle Your grace on my consequences, which I do not deserve. Father, based on Your perfect balance in my case, I desire to have balance in my dealings with others. Forgive me for being insensitive, unfair, and harsh in my dealings with others, and help me to be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving. I love You deeply. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
