Does God really need anything from us?
Look at what God said: "Kindness to the poor is a loan to the LORD, and He will give a reward to the lender" (Prov. 19:17) HCSB
Christian's despite all the tension in the country today, don't loose sight of our basic duties to our fellow humans.
Don't allow all the challenges that comes with helping the needy stop you.
They might and they might not change after your help.
Just remember be kind to the poor (they get enough criticism and skepticism).
Last thing, anticipate God's reward for your loan to Him.
