Banking with God:
Image having to choose between feeding your family or getting gas to keep a job that barely pays enough to survive. Or even getting a sign and asking strangers for help. Needy people are increasing and you must decide if you will help. Moreover, everyone asking for help are not using drugs, nor are they all professional pan handlers.
I know the disappointment of being burned by a “slickster,” but the joy of meeting a genuine need supersedes the disappointment.
Be wise with God’s resources, and be alert during your helping ministry.
In whatever way God leads you to help the needy (through church, another charity or personally) remember you are banking with God, and doing business with God has a guaranteed “return on investment” (ROI). “If you help the poor, you are lending to the LORD and he will repay you!”(Prov. 19:17).
