Just “Going to Church”?
“Going to church” speaks for itself, but we have lowered it to a popular routine with expectations of being entertained and receiving a variety of family services, then we dart off to the next activity. For some, church is bumped depending on competing activities.
God created you, and restored you through Christ to worship Him in meaningful ways. Worship is an experience with the all-powerful God of the universe. God’s Word says: "Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were
created” (Revelation 4:11).
Christians, “go to church” and concentrate on, and experience God because of Who He is, what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do. Then you will enjoy rich fellowship with others, and be stimulated to do good during and after church (Hebrews 10:24-25).
