Christians, Continue to Do Good

The violent attack on unarmed and innocent people whose life commitment is to help the vulnerable members of our society, on 12/2/15, was heartless.

This was another act against humankind that highlights how lost people can be.  Domestic and international terrorist keep their hearts cold such that they possess a low view of human life.  Even as the function in the community they dwell on hatred and the destruction of human life to maintain this coldness.

God describes this kind of heart by saying that the heart is deceitful and desperately sick; who can understand it (Jer.17:9)?

However, God, Who knows the heart, can and does change the human heart through His Son, Jesus (II Cor.5:17).

God also gives His children specific instructions to demonstrate our changed heart in Matt. 25:31-40.

Christians, as we live in an increasingly violent society, we must stay alert and protect our society from evil people doing evil things ("if you see something, say something").  Even if we are wrong, we are better off checking it out.  We must also continue to do good as we are doing in San Bernardino, and as we do good all over the world.

Christians, we even do good to those who hate us (Rom. 12:20-21; Gal. 6:9-10).

God Bless,

Pastor Brian E. Kennedy, Sr.
