Well Done!

Well Done!

The parable of the talents in Matt. 25:14-30, describe how Jesus entrust His resources to us to grow His kingdom interest.  Jesus charges us to share the gospel to increase the number of people with a love relationship with God (His kingdom interest). Hence, the “talents” can represent something valuable like the gospel and not just money.  Jesus gives each of us some of His resources (“talents”) according to our ability (not more and not less than we are capable).
We need not compare our resources from Jesus with what others have or don’t have.  We simply need to take what He gives us and grow His kingdom interest.
Here is the challenge.  Jesus will personally meet with us regarding His expectations because He wants to reward us for our faithfulness (Matt. 25:19-23).
Don’t be lazy and unfaithful like the servant who buried his opportunities.

Christian’s, be productive today with the Lord’s resources, grow His kingdom interest, and listen for those soothing words: “well done, My good and faithful servant.”

God Bless,
Pastor Brian E. Kennedy, Sr.
